Book Release Party for the Deaf Baby Instruction Manual

Join me for a family-friendly party to celebrate the release of The Deaf Baby Instruction Manual, a guide for hearing parents of deaf and hard of hearing children, written by CSD parent Will Fertman.
The event will be on Saturday, May 2, from 10am-2pm, hosted by The Learning Tree Preschool at 34050 Paseo Padre Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94555.
We’ll have a petting zoo, bounce house, ASL storytelling, facepainting, crafts and refreshments for kids and their families, Activities will be in ASL and English, with interpreters available and fun for everyone!
At noon, there will be a brief reading from the book, followed by a panel discussion with Will and Deaf author Rachel Zemach (The Butterfly Cage.)
If you’re planning to buy The Deaf Baby Instruction Manual at the party, the best way is to order the book in advance from Banter Books in Fremont. They’ll have them ready for you at the party. There will be a limited number of books for sale at the event, so buying it ahead of time is a good idea. You’ll get the link when you complete the form.
